Lithology and environment
Primary lithology: | grainstone |
Environment: | perireef or subreef |
Geology comments: It consists of well-sorted and well-winnowed, cross-bedded coralline algal debris grainstones with large, northwest-dipping sigmoidal foresets (coralline algal debris facies). The algal debris comprises broken corallinacean branches and fragments of crustose forms as well as small (4 cm) laminar rhodoliths. |
