Lithology description: "The bioclastic Lsts represent periods of current activity when all fine-grained sediment was washed out to the deepter parts of the basin, and the levels of tuffitic shales indicate periods of stagnation. In the tuffitic shales occur common Atrypa fumosa (with preserved fringes). On the upper surface of many bioclastic crinoidal Lstsk, some of which form hard-grounds, there are characteristic assemblages of brachiopods...The section continues through thicker beds of light grey bioclastic crinoidal Lsts with common flat colonies of stromatoporoids and rare tabulates. These massive Lsts overlain by thinner beds of grety to rusty brown bioclastic (common crinoidal detritus) Lsts with intercalations of dark calcareous shales containing [Atrypoidea]...[similar rocks continue upwards].
