Stratigraphy
Formation:Blenheim
Stratigraphic resolution:group of beds
Stratigraphy comments: The stratigraphic position within the formation is unknown, although all other collections from Pelican Creek are from the upper Blenheim Formation, from the Pseudostrophalosia clarkei zone or higher. The P. clarkei zone, correlated with the lower part of APP4.3 palynomorph zone (Briggs, 1998). The APP4.3 zone was constrained as mid-Wuchiapingian age by U-Pb dating in Laurie et al. (2016).
