Lithology description: Unit 72: Limestone, light-gray, hard, dense, fine-grained; 2 massive beds separated by a 6-inch nodular limestone interbedded with shale; upper 1.5 feet very cherty, stained lavender, and with white calcite veins; poorly exposed.
