Boavus occidentalis

Taxonomy
Boavus occidentalis was named by Marsh (1871). Its type specimen is PMNH 511, a set of vertebrae (single dorsal vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grizzly Buttes, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Boavus.
