Palatobaena bairdi

Taxonomy
Palatobaena bairdi was named by Gaffney (1972). Its type specimen is YPM-PU 16839, a partial skull (a partially distorted right half of a skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cedar Point Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian fluvial-lacustrine siliciclastic in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Palatobaena.
