Laiyangpus liui

Taxonomy
Laiyangpus liui was named by Young (1960). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is IVPP V2471, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Huangyandi, Peiputze tracksite (IVPP), which is in a Barremian lacustrine sandstone in the Shuinan Formation of China. It is the type species of Laiyangpus.

Diagnosis

S. Zhen et al. 1989Small footprints. Manus with three digits and pes with four digits. Apparently the first digit of the pes and first and fifth of the manus are not preserved. Digits slender and sharply pointed, roughly parallel. Tail impression present. The manus is 1.2–1.9 cm long and 1.7–2.3 cm wide. The pes is 1.8–2.2 cm long and 2.1–2.6 cm wide.
