Phoberodon arctirostris

Taxonomy
Phoberodon arctirostris was named by Cabrera (1926). Its type specimen is MDLP 5-4, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cerro del Castillo, Trelew, which is in an Aquitanian/Burdigalian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Gaiman Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Phoberodon.
