Kutchicetus minimus
Taxonomy
Kutchicetus minimus was named by Bajpai and Thewissen (2000). Its type specimen is RUSB 2647, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Godhatad, which is in a Lutetian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Harudi Formation of India.
It was synonymized subjectively with Andrewsiphius sloani by Gingerich et al. (2001).
