Simimeryx minutus

Taxonomy
Leptomeryx minutus was named by Peterson (1934). Its type specimen is CM 11913, a mandible (Portion of right ramus of mandible with P4-M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Red Narrows, which is in a Duchesnean terrestrial horizon in the Duchesne River Formation of Utah.

It was recombined as Simimeryx minutus by Gazin (1955), Golz (1976) and Vislobokova (2001).
