Taxonomy
Quadrodens wilsoni was named by Macdonald (1970) [genotype]. Its type locality is Sharps (SDSM V-5359), which is in a Geringian terrestrial horizon in the Sharps Formation of South Dakota. It is the type species of Quadrodens.
