Nekrolagus progressus

Taxonomy
Pediolagus progressus was named by Hibbard (1939) ["genotype"]. Its type locality is Rexroad KU Locality 3, which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in the Rexroad Formation of Kansas.

It was recombined as Pratilepus progressus by Dawson (1958); it was recombined as Nekrolagus progressus by Hibbard (1939), Hibbard (1941), Kurten and Anderson (1980) and White (1991).
