Felis rexroadensis

Taxonomy
Felis rexroadensis was named by Stephens (1959). Its type locality is Rexroad KU Locality 3, which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in the Rexroad Formation of Kansas.

It was synonymized subjectively with Felis lacustris by Kurten and Anderson (1980); it was recombined as Lynx rexroadensis by Savage (1960), Martin (1980), Hulbert (1992) and Seymour (1999).
