Alwoodia harkseni
Taxonomy
Allomys harkseni was named by Macdonald (1963). Its type specimen is SDSM 59155, a tooth (isolated M1 or M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Monroe Creek (SDSM V-592), which is in a Monroecreekian terrestrial horizon in the Monroe Creek Formation of South Dakota.
It was recombined as Alwoodia harkseni by Korth (1992).
