D. R. Prothero and M. R. Liter 2008Medium-length, upright supraorbital horns, short
bulbous occipital horn. Upper canine lost. Short diastema. Large premolars with little molarization; anterior fossette on p4 open. brachyodont molars, with Palaeomeryx fold on lower molars (after Janis and Man- ning, 1998, p. 485).
