Taxonomy
Phalium (Bezoardica) egberti was named by Schenck (1926). Its type specimen is LSJU 148, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Phalium egberti by Durham (1944); it was recombined as Liracassis egberti by Hendy (2020).
