Hemipatagus subrostratus

Taxonomy
Hemipatagus subrostratus was named by Clark and Twitchell (1915). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is City quarry near cemetery, Wilmington, which is in an Eocene marine marl in the Jackson Formation of North Carolina.

It was recombined as Maretia subrostratus by Kier (1980).
