Boreopricea was named by Tatarinov (1978). It is not extant. Its type is Boreopricea funerea. It was considered monophyletic by Benton and Allen (1997).
It was assigned to Prolacertidae by Tatarinov (1978), Benton (1985), Carroll (1988) and Benton and Allen (1997); and to Crocopoda by Ezcurra (2016).

Femur practically straight in plane section. |
