Ingentia prima
Taxonomy
Ingentia prima was named by Apaldetti et al. (2018). Its type specimen is PVSJ 1086, a set of postcrania (Six articulated posterior cervical vertebrae (C5– C10), glenoid region of right scapula and right forelimb lacking all phalanges (except phalanx IV.1 and V.1–2)), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Balde de Leyes (Norian, Quebrada del Barro), which is in a Norian alluvial fan sandstone/siltstone in the Quebrada del Barro Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Ingentia.
