Gogodipterus paddyensis
Taxonomy
Chirodipterus paddyensis was named by Miles (1977) [A species with well-spaced, high ridges on the entopterygoid and prearticular tooth-plates which cross from the labial to the lingual surface and converge on the posteromesial angle; and with a small process on the dorsolateral edge of the prearticular, which projects over the suprameckelian fossa of the mandible at the base of the tooth-plate; subopercular 2 is small.]. Its type specimen is BMNH P56034, a partial skeleton (anterior part of the flank, much of the shoulder-girdle and the posterior region of the head minus the skull-roof), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Gogodipterus paddyensis by Long (1992).
