Mosasaurus hobetsuensis
Taxonomy
Mosasaurus hobetsuensis was named by Suzuki (1985). Its type specimen is HMG-12, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pankerusano-sawa Creek (Locality B), which is in a Maastrichtian marine horizon in the Hakobuchi Formation of Japan.
