Anser pressus
Taxonomy
Chen pressa was named by Wetmore (1933). Its type specimen is USNM 12823, a limb element (left femur), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hagerman west 1, which is in a Pliocene lacustrine - large horizon in the Hagerman Formation of Idaho.
It was recombined as Anser pressus by Brodkorb (1964).
