Pandion homalopteron
Taxonomy
Pandion homalopteron was named by Warter (1976). Its type specimen is LACM 42815, a set of limb elements (left and right humeri), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sharktooth Hill Bonebed, which is in a Langhian terrestrial siltstone in the Temblor Formation of California.
