Miacis vorax

Uintacyon vorax was named by Leidy (1872) [also said to be 1871 and 1872]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Henry's Fork, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.

It was recombined as Miacis vorax by Scott (1892).
