Protolambda mcgilli
Taxonomy
Protolambda mcgilli was named by Kelly (2014). Its type specimen is LACM 157292, a mandible (right dentary with m2-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lane's Little Jaw Site, which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial sandstone/claystone in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana.
