Simoliophis rochebrunei
Taxonomy
Simoliophis rochebrunei was named by Sauvage (1880). Its type specimen is MA RND 11 (neotype), a set of vertebrae (one posterior mid-trunk vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Les Renardières quarry, Tonnay-Charente (B1s), which is in a Cenomanian paralic sandstone in France.
