Dawsonerpeton polydens
Taxonomy
Dawsonia polydens was named by Fritsch (1879). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NMP 419, a partial skull. Its type locality is Kounov, Rakovnik District, which is in a Stephanian B terrestrial siliciclastic in the Slaný Formation of the Czech Republic. It is the type species of Dawsonerpeton.
It was recombined as Dawsonerpeton polydens by Zajic (1984) and Schoch and Milner (2014).
