Dawsonerpeton polydens

Taxonomy
Dawsonia polydens was named by Fritsch (1879). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NMP 419, a partial skull. Its type locality is Kounov, Rakovnik District, which is in a Stephanian B terrestrial siliciclastic in the SlanĂ˝ Formation of the Czech Republic. It is the type species of Dawsonerpeton.

It was recombined as Dawsonerpeton polydens by Zajic (1984) and Schoch and Milner (2014).
