Uria affinis

Taxonomy
Catarractes affinis was named by Marsh (1872). Its type specimen is YPM 845, a limb element (right humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bangor, which is in a Pleistocene marine claystone in Maine.

It was recombined as Uria affinis by Hay (1902), Hay (1930), Lambrecht (1933), Wetmore (1940), Wetmore (1956), Olson and Rasmussen (2001) and Watanabe et al. (2016).
