Woodoceras brachyops
Taxonomy
Woodoceras brachyops was named by Prothero (2005). Its type specimen is F:AM 112180, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Harris Ranch Unit E Silt, which is in an Arikareean terrestrial horizon in South Dakota. It is the type species of Woodoceras.
