Taxonomy
Cedromus savannae was named by Hayes (2007). Its type specimen is UNSM 48448, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wagner Quarry, which is in an Arikareean/Arikareean terrestrial sandstone in Nebraska.
