Opistopteryx gracilis

Taxonomy
Mesogaster gracilis was named by Pictet (1850). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sach el Aalma (Boissier collection), which is in a Santonian carbonate lime mudstone in Lebanon. It is the type species of Opistopteryx.

It was recombined as Opistopteryx gracilis by Pictet and Humbert (1866), Davis (1887) and Woodward (1901).
