Pronotacanthus sahelalmae
Taxonomy
Anguilla sahelalmae was named by Davis (1887). Its type specimen is BMNH 46535, P4741, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sahil Alma (BMNH collection), which is in a Santonian carbonate lime mudstone in Lebanon.
It was recombined as Pronotacanthus sahelalmae by Woodward (1901).
