Tienfuchelys chungkingensis
Taxonomy
Plesiochelys chungkingensis was named by Young and Chow (1953). Its type specimen is CMNH C.998, a partial shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tatienwan building foundation, Fotoukwan, which is in a Jurassic terrestrial horizon in China.
It was recombined as Tienfuchelys chungkingensis by Tong et al. (2012).
