Simoclaenus sylvaticus
Taxonomy
Simoclaenus sylvaticus was named by de Muizon and Cifelli (2000). Its type specimen is MHNC 8332, a mandible (Right dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tiupampa site 2, which is in a Danian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Lucía Formation of Bolivia. It is the type species of Simoclaenus.
