Hybodus shastensis
Taxonomy
Hybodus shastensis was named by Wemple (1906). Its type specimen is UCMP 10255, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP 1013, West end of Bear Cove, which is in a Tuvalian carbonate limestone in the Hosselkus Formation of California.
