Mazothairos enormis
Taxonomy
Mazothairos enormis was named by Kukalová-Peck and Richardson (1983). Its type specimen is UIMNH 2, a thorax, and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Mazon Creek (UIMNH collection), which is in a Westphalian D deltaic mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois.
