Enchodus marchesettii
Taxonomy
Eurygnathus marchesettii was named by Gorjanović-Kramberger (1895). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Haqel (MCSN Trieste collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal carbonate in Lebanon.
It was recombined as Enchodus marchesettii by Hay (1903) and Goody (1969).
