Leiodon anceps

Taxonomy
Leiodon anceps was named by Owen (1841). Its type specimen is BMNH 41639, a set of teeth (two tooth fragments and a small portion of the corresponding jaw bone), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Liodon anceps by Agassiz (1846), Gaudry (1892) and Russell (1967); it was considered a nomen dubium by Schulp et al. (2008); it was recombined as Prognathodon anceps by Driscoll et al. (2019).
