E. N. Kurochkin et al. 2006Cerebral hemispheres rounded oval. Olfactory tracts thick, with large olfactory bulbs. Interhemispheric fissure shallow, parietal organ well pronounced, located in pineal recess on caudal slope of interhemispheric fissure; roof of midbrain with large auditory tubercles, well-developed epiphysis (glandula pinealis) located between auditory tubercles, optic tubercles (lobi optici) located caudoventral to cerebral hemispheres, not projecting laterally beyond them. Middle part of parasphenoid rostrum swollen.
