Taxonomy
Mosasaurus beaugei was named by Arambourg (1952). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oulad Abdoun Basin (Couche III, general), which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone in the Phosphates Formation of Morocco.
