Contogenys ekalakaensis
Taxonomy
Contogenys ekalakaensis was named by Nydam and Fitzpatrick (2009). Its type specimen is YPM-PU 17035, a mandible (right dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Medicine Rocks Site 1, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial sandstone in the Fort Union Formation of Montana.
