It was corrected as Rajoidei by Capetta (1980), Cappetta (1987) and Forey et al. (2003).

It was assigned to Batoidea by Jonet (1968) and Thurmond and Jones (1981); and to Rajiformes by Capetta (1980), Cappetta (1987) and Forey et al. (2003).
