Pachyacanthus suessii

Taxonomy
Pachyacanthus suessii was named by Brandt (1871) [no type specimen listed in Brandt 1871 ]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hernals, which is in a Langhian marine sandstone in Austria.

It was recombined as Priscodelphinus suessii by Trouessart (1898); it was recombined as Eurhinodelphis suessi by Trouessart (1904); it was corrected as Pachyacanthus suessi by Pia (1937).
