Taxonomy
Roberthoffstetteria nationalgeographica was named by Marshall et al. (1983). It is not extant. Its type locality is Tiupampa site 1, the “quarry”, which is in a Danian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Lucía Formation of Bolivia.
