Deccanolestes hislopi
Taxonomy
Deccanolestes hislopi was named by Prasad and Sahni (1988). Its type specimen is VPL/JU/NKIM/10, a tooth (right [upper] M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Naskal microvertebrate site, which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone/mudstone in India. It is the type species of Deccanolestes.
