Alopias grandis

Taxonomy
Alopecias grandis was named by Leriche (1942). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Nomini Cliffs, Zone 14-16, which is in a Serravallian foreshore claystone in the Calvert Formation of Virginia.

It was recombined as Alopias grandis by Casier (1958) and Kent (2018).
