Protolamna borodini

Taxonomy
Plicatolamna borodini was named by Cappetta and Case (1975). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Willow Brook (WBR), which is in a Maastrichtian coastal sandstone in the Navesink Formation of New Jersey.

It was recombined as Cretodus borodini by Case and Schwimmer (1988) and Siverson (1992); it was recombined as Protolamna borodini by Case and Cappetta (2004).
