Albanerpeton inexpectatum
Taxonomy
Albanerpeton inexpectatum was named by Estes and Hoffstetter (1976). Its type specimen is MNHN LGA 176, a set of vertebrae, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La-Grive-Saint-Alban, which is in a MN 5/MN 7 + 8 fissure fill horizon in France. It is the type species of Albanerpeton.
