Agomphus oxysternum

Taxonomy
Amphiemys oxysternum was named by Cope (1877) [no catalogue number given]. Its type specimen is Geological Survey of Georgia specimen, a partial shell (plastron and anterior half of carapace), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Amphiemys oxysternum type locality, near Montezuma, which is in a Paleocene marine limestone in Georgia.

It was recombined as Agomphus oxysternum by Hay (1902), Hay (1908), Hay (1930) and Joyce and Bourque (2016).
