Carolinochelys wilsoni
Taxonomy
Carolinochelys wilsoni was named by Hay (1923). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Charleston, Eocene unknown, which is in an Eocene marine marl in South Carolina. It is the type species of Carolinochelys.
